Minimum number of user specified cells that need to flow into a cell to classify it as a stream
Defines the minimum upstream drainage area necessary to maintain a stream
Also called “Threshold Size”
Smaller the threshold - smaller the watershed size - larger the number of watersheds - slower the computations
